Next HoTT Film night is on Thursday 13th December 2018 at 7.30pm in a new venue for us – the Holmfirth Tech community hub (the old Adult Ed building next to the Fire station in Holmfirth.
As part of our climate change impact films on a TRANSPORT theme, we will be showing some short film clips about the latest developments on zero emission electric cars, and also taking a look-back to the early 2000’s when the car and oil industries combined to try and squeeze out the electric car. The feature film is:
WHO KILLED THE ELECTRIC CAR?
This award winning 90 minute film made in 2006, tells the tale of how General Motors, the largest motor manufacturer in the world, first developed and then killed off their revolutionary EV1 electric car.
